Hi, I'm Shay.
Actually, Shay is a nickname.
But as my name has a strong French pronunciation, I always had problems with mispronunciation during all of my school years.
This year, I enrolled in an MBA program, and with all the different nationalities (and accents) I thought it will be easier to just call me Shay.

As my father always told me, with me there’s no in between, I am fucking passionate and a clueless dreamer. When my mind is on something, you’ll gotta be at least Beyoncé to try to bring me back down to earth.
At the age of 14, I discovered Legally blond and thus my spirit animal, Elle Woods. I grew up convinced that I would end up being a Lawyer. “You should become a lawyer,” they said, “You’re always very opinionated”. No, I wasn’t. Just a very curious girl with an enormous wanderlust, eager to learn more and to challenge herself. So yes, I studied Law for a few months but guess what ... I didn’t like it. TBH, it wasn’t really for the fact of becoming a lawyer. I just wanted to be as bold, fierce and true to myself as she was and to dare to go after my dreams.
“If you want it, you can get”, easier said than done. The truth is being a woman in a man’s world makes it a whole lot harder. And as a mixed girl, I’ve come to realize that I might just have to work twice, even thrice, as hard if I want to achieve my dreams. Cliché you say? Oh, I wish it was.
